MoreA gyoza store that is famous for its continuous supply system until the order is stopped.
MoreWent there around 5pm. Lots of people inside but no line up. With my limited Japanese, all I need to order was the drink. Gyoza served here have very thin skin and crispy bottom. Unfortunately my last plate had one that kind of burnt but still taste good. Probably best time to come is when there is line up since the gyoza get served before it get burnt. Side note: people who had cat tongue might get stress out trying to eat it fast as the staff keep checking on you without burning the tongue
MoreDelicious affordable with more 50 years experience. Highly recommended.
It was my first visit~ I was surprised to see the dumplings as I sat in my seat! ️It was a little bigger than a bite dumpling. The taste is definitely the one you want to visit again 🎵Even if you line up outside, you don't have to wait for a long time because the turnover of the shop is good.At first, eat soy sauce only, and in the second dish, chili oil? I put it and ate it with mustard on the third plate.I'd be happy if I had pepper if possible. There are both grilled and raw to take home, so maybe I should think about taking home next time (laugh)
MoreDelicious gyoza place. They only serve gyoza and only gyoza. Nothing else. Not even rice. Place is a bit small. There are queue sometimes, but it moves fast.
MoreDelicious! Crispy and juicy. They come at you fast with plate after plate until you are stuffed. The walls have pricing charts based on the number of plates. The other pricing chat on the wall is for number of beers.
MoreIt's famous for its delicious dumplings only, so I finally went there.I lined up a little, but entered the store earlier than I expected. It will be offered immediately with a two-person system. It's a vegetable gyoza dumpling that has the best compatibility with beer.It is a shop that is easy for one person to use.
Morewe saw this being recommended in a TV show and read online about the raving reviews about the gyoza, so went out of curiosity.. there was a queue outside the shop though the queue moved pretty fast.. the gyoza was the best I have tasted in Japan so far, crispy on one side and soft and juicy inside.. the price is quite cheap.. pity they only had asahi beer.. worth a visit and wait.. the whole shop was served by old grandpa and grandmas, scaringly efficient..
MoreIt's been a tourist destination for quite some time! You're done...Long agoAt first glance, the customer said, "Um... with gyoza..."To sayThe late owner now"Uchi only gyoza!"I missed how often you barked (lol)It is written,If you sit down, you will be forced to have two dishes per person.Since there is only alcohol other than dumplingsThere is nothing wrong with drinking,Those who don't drink...Dumplings are smallOther than eating with spicy sauce,There is no particular feature in taste (lol)Because it provides freshly bakedWhile drinking alcoholI will eat...If 2 plates were enoughIf you do not express your intention,ShittoPlease note that more will be added! To bother in lineI don't think it's enough to eat,It may be good for talking ♪
MoreI prefer the other one
The best gyoza in tokyo. Must visit! Legendary. Highly recommend. I will go on every visit i make to Japan. *updated review, (september 2019) I just went again, wow, these gyozas are simply incredible. The best, in my opinion. Ambience is so authentic.
MoreGreat service!!!
A classic, cheap and good. Gyoza is good, but there are better around. The best / most enjoyable part is the environment and experience.
MoreI regret coming in by car! early! delicious! narrow! Gyoza has a quota of two per person, but one is absolutely not enough, so no problem. It's 150 yen for plum wine, so you can have a rice cracker. But long stay is useless, I feel like eating quickly and getting out quickly
MoreAverage
When I came to Kameido, I thought that I would like to come to this gyoza specialty store. There was a line, but the train was well turned around and I was guided without waiting so long. I can't go without asking for 2 plates (10 pieces 540 yen) per person, but the price was so low that it was delicious with a bite. I was impressed by the fact that the customer service was also cheerful, and that I was busy and boiled the gyoza so hard that I could say greetings and thanks in the eyes of the customers.
MoreIt's a line at lunch, but if you shift the time a little, you can enter smoothly. When you get to your seat, gyoza will come out. Two per person is required. After that, you will be asked if you want to eat more, and if you ask, the remaining dumplings will be placed on a new plate. If you have to eat, you will be asked to fight yourself.Among the many dumpling shops, the atmosphere, customer service, inside the shop, and the size and taste of the dumplings are the best! !
MoreVery famous shop of dumplings.Plain dumplings are eaten any number.
Great gyozas. I recommend having a take out instead of eating in because they will force you to eat many gyozas or you leave the place immediately. There are only two menu available: gyoza and beer
MoreIf you want gyoza and just Gyoza then this is the place. You walk in and take a seat. A plate of gyoza arrives within minutes. Then they keep topping you up till you say stop. Lots of locals and no English so bit of a challenge. Luckily you don't need a menu here. Great spot...
MoreJust ok
THE BEST GYOZA IN TOKYO! brilliant little no frills restaurant. The atmosphere is fast paced but fun. Friendly staff, don't speak English but are accommodating and attentive and you are made to feel welcome. Cheap price per plate, minimum order of two plates of gyoza(5 on each plate). The chef is a genius, watching him cook each gyoza perfectly every time and at such a speed is a real highlight. Gets busy fast. The place to be for the authentic gyoza experience
MoreDon't know what the hype is about this place. Gyozas are not flavorful, not juicy, and taste plain... They taste worse than some frozen gyozas. Never coming back, nor should it be worth your late night stop after work.
MoreSome of the best I've had
The best place in Tokyo for Gyoza. Perfectly cooked!!!!!!!!!!This place has been here four years. They make the gyoza by hand the day of and then are open until they run out. The serve basically only gyoza. You may also get a small plate of cabbage. Most of the waitresses are originally from some where in China but the cook is a great grumpy old man who cooks gyoza perfectly. I don't think he is really that grumpy though. He added the perfect atmosphere to the place. You may have to wait in line a bit but don't worry it is worth it.
Moregood taste
Went back several times for delicious gyoza, crispy skin seared to perfection.
I won't go anymore. It is a mystery why it is so highly evaluated. Why come one more before you finish eating? It gets cold. It may have had high expectations because it was said to be delicious, but it was not delicious. Gyoza that is surprisingly dry. Isn't it just gyoza, which is a cold meal? It says "Please enjoy thick and juicy dumplings once!", but it is the exact opposite. The clerk hasn't eaten? Is that thick and juicy? Don't laugh By the way, maybe because I went on Saturday, the sprouts did not come out even when I ordered the third plate. The urgent reception is very unpleasant. I'm not saying this is easy. I will never go again.
MoreTake way classic Gyoza It was delicious !!!!!Wanna repeat it soon!
MoreIt is understandable that it is popular. Originally I did thick skin dumplings, but thin skin is also good! Was recognized. This time I had 7 dishes.I want you to add highballs to the menu. .. ..
MoreOnly Gyoza! There are no food other than Gyoza. Eat Gyoza as much as you can! The best place in Tokyo to eat just Gyoza.
MoreQuick and easy dumpling restaurant but this has been the all time best in Japan. Note, there is NO other menu than dumplings. Don’t even expect veggies or so. Just bite their one and only with Japanese bottled beer! The moment you sit in, don’t even bother to place order yourself. 2 rounds of 5pcs Gyoza dumplings per guest will be served automatically unless you want some beverages so that you would pay min. of 520 yen in this resto per head. Don’t recommend to take kids there as the shop is so tiny.
MoreA flavour of local, nice quality.
Love everything about this place. It has old world charm and the older ladies serving have characters. Really a gem and only 1 min walk from Kamedio stn. Lines moves fast. Get Gyoza and cold beer and watch. Two plates per person minimum and a drink. 5 pieces per plate, easily down 10 plates in one seating.
MoreBest Gyoza I've had in japan
Amazing service, amazing gyoza!
Gyoza searched for dozens of stores looking for something really delicious. Kameido gyoza is one of them, but unfortunately it was not very delicious. Gyoza of Hidakaya is quite delicious despite being a chain store, but I think that you should not lose to Hidakaya at a specialty store. The local police officer also agreed.
Moremy friend told me, it is best local restaurant.
good
Cheap and delicious 😋
Gyozas till you drop. Fast, filling, cheap and oishi!
October 2017Seeing the rave reviews of this restaurant I decided to see if their gyoza would be as impressive as they sound. Went on a weekday a little after lunch time, there was no line and I was seated immediately. Minimum serving is two plates of gyoza (500 yen) and each additional plate of five is 250 yen.-Gyoza: Orthodox flavor of pork, garlic, ginger and finely diced cabbage, done well. Although the flavor itself wasn't impressive to me, the texture was flawless. The chef has honed the steam-frying technique to perfection. Conclusion: I was really impressed with the texture of the gyoza. Best steam-fried gyoza texture that I've had.Would I go back? If I ever want Japanese gyoza. Which isn't common.Do I recommend this place? If you love Japanese gyoza, go for it.
MoreI passed by in the daytime so I took it out.It will be ready immediately after ordering. It had a very strong taste, and when I ate it with gyoza alone, it didn't look like it was delicious. However, I think that it tastes just right as a snack with beer, so I would like to introduce it as a dumpling that goes well with sake.(Actually, the menu is only dumplings or beer, so I think it's exactly what I want)

The Showa taste!
Yummy for the first few pieces and quickly got full after 5 pieces. Very oily. Recommend one dish for one person. Not so expensive. Staff is not very attentive and not friendly to foreign customers.
MoreA style that only eats dumplings. I also drink sake with me. The dumplings are small and easy to eat. I ate 7 plates. The taste is normal for me. The atmosphere of the store was good.
